So, You Want to Get Involved . . .

There are a number of ways you can help Health Bridges. The fact that you are checking out our website is one very important way you can get involved.  Additional ways you can share your resources, time, and talents with HBI include:

Donate– Relationship development, building model programs, and facilitating bridges of change all take time and money. One big way you can help HBI is by making-a-donation. Check our contributions page.

Make a Multi-year Pledge– Consider making a multi-year pledge to support our Casa Girasoles homes for formerly abandoned children. Multi-year pledges allow us to plan into the future and truly build the strong collaborative partnerships we need to create the models we know make a difference in the lives of women and children in underserved communities. Become a monthly pledge donor at Casa Girasoles Supporter.

Volunteer– We need volunteers with specific skills. We need people with training in emergency medicine (physicians, EMTs, paramedics, and RNs), therapists (PT, OT, LMT, speech and language) with an interest in helping to support children with disabilities and special needs, and software programmers and engineers who can help us to complete our Girasoles Sanos health monitoring system and advance a web-based database. We also need health educators to donate their time and talents to our Team Perú trip to help advance our schools-outreach program. Interested in volunteering with HBI? Contact us at: Info@HBInt.org

Train– Become one of our master trainers and help us to train trainers who can go out and train healthcare professionals in Neonatal Resuscitation Training (NRP), adolescent medicine specialists, trauma informed care and a number of other subjects. Talk with an HBI staff person (info@HBInt.org) to learn more about ways your valuable skills can be beneficial to our work.

Join– Join us on a service learning trip. To learn more about our trips - check out the Team Perú page on our website.

Inform– Spread the message of our work and help us to build our movement. Stay connected to our Social Media, Blog, and Youtube video updates.
