Sponsorship with HBI
Health Bridges International (HBI) is proud to collaborate with Father Alex Busuttil and the Mission of Alto Cayma on a model program for helping children living in Alto Cayma, Perú. The Guardian Angel Sponsorship Program, once administered by the U.S. based not-for-profit UNBOUND, has been a program of Health Bridges since 2017.
Health Bridges operates the St. Helen's Parish Guardian Angel Program in close partnership with a core team of staff, who have managed the day-to-day operations of the program for the past ten years. The Guardian Angel sponsorship program is the result of a 20-year partnership with Father Alex and the Mission of Alto Cayma - and brings our years of health and social development experience in Perú and around Latin America to supporting underserved children. We are committed to providing the highest quality support to each child and their families. How Sponsorship Works
From time to time we all need help overcoming the multitude of challenges we meet in life. Whether it be for a moment or more, we cannot and should not do it alone. Your sponsorship empowers children and their families with tools and resources needed to pursue their goals and strive towards self-sufficiency.
Local staff work closely with sponsored families to identify barriers, problem solve, and create opportunities. Resources provided through the Guardian Angel Program include a wide range of services and support:
