Dr. Natasha Polensek
Secretary Dr. Natasha Polensek is a general pediatrician who has practiced in the Portland area ever since completing her medical school and pediatric residency training at Oregon Health and Science University in 1994, where she also served as Chief Resident in Pediatrics. She has experience working not only for OHSU in the Sellwood clinic and at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital and Outpatient clinics but also for the Multnomah County Health Department at various sites and for several private practices. She currently volunteers at the Goose Hollow Family Shelter clinic for Outside In and is soon to be joining the faculty of the OHSU Family Medicine Department at the new Center for Health and Healing. Her international and cross-cultural experiences include working on the Navajo reservation in New Mexico, LBJ Tropical Medical Center in American Samoa, the Hope Clinic in Kerala, India and in Peru with Scripture Union and Father Alex. She also had the privilege of joining two Earthwatch expeditions, one to Thailand to join an archaeology team and another to study monkey behavior in Sri Lanka. She speaks French and dabbles in Spanish and loves foreign films and travel. She always returns home to Portland where she relishes her new role as a doting auntie to her nephew and niece. |
