We’re convening our team this week in Arequipa for an annual staff retreat.
We try to meet once per year. A face-to-face gathering that affords quality interactions, planning, and general discourse on our work. We use our time to debrief from the year and forecast for the future. This week we will be meeting with a keen eye toward the future. Who will Health Bridges “be” in 2020? What about 2025? Or, dare I say – 2050? No, we won’t go there. It is, in my opinion – and substantiated by the research, futile to plan for more than 5-year cycles; however, we will be planning. We’d love to hear from you – our supporters and stakeholders. What do you think bridge building should look like for Health Bridges in 2020 and beyond? We will, as has been our way of operating from our inception, be ever mindful to the communities we serve. Seeking to build whatever efforts and undertakings in close partnerships with local leaders and community representatives. So, chime in. Let us know what you think. Give us your two-cents in the comments section or send an email (info@hbint.org). We’d love to hear from you. |
