![]() "HBI is more than a not-for-profit . . . you're a friend." I recently met with a volunteer. I wanted to know what it was that drew them to Health Bridges. They told me the initial draw was our mission. They were attracted to the idea that our single focus of being is building relationships and connections that bridge between resource and need. They went on to say, their long-term attraction to HBI is grounded in the feeling that "we are not only partners with our stakeholders . . . but also friends." There is a lot to be said about working at such a deep, meaningful level of partnership. You, the stakeholders and partners, make the work of Health Bridges possible. You provide your time, financial resources and your energy. We don't take this commitment lightly. We know how important it is to be in a trusted relationship. That is why we are so thankful for the many friendships that make our work possible. That is why we are deeply thankful for you. |
