It's through giving, that we truly receive.
We took over the Casa Girasoles homes, two orphanages for formerly abandoned children, without a clear understanding of how we were going to pay the $120,000 annual operating costs. At the time, it didn't seem to matter. What mattered most, was helping to preserve as much of an opportunity for the best life possible for 60 formerly homeless boys. Now, one year later, we have blessed over and over again by the generosity of supporters. People who generously stepped up to save the lives of children.
It is truly through giving that we receive. We are so thankful for all of the supporters of Health Bridges International. You give every day, and some of the most underserved communities in Latin America are receiving better access to health services and supports because of your generosity. Thank you.
