Program Support and Collaborations

Our vision at Health Bridges International, Inc. (HBI) is to bring like-minded, mission oriented organizations and providers together to make sustainable improvements in the health of impoverished people, especially women and children. Mindful of the importance of responsible stewardship we strive to unite established charities in a collaborative environment to meet the needs of the communities we serve in a cost effective, efficient manner.  Through this collaborative approach we are able to build and expand networks once specific projects are identified.  Facilitating coordinated outreach, limits duplication of services geographically and offers the promise of a greater pool of talented specialists.  As medical and social service partnerships are created between local and international outreach organizations, the prospect of sustainable improvement is greatly enhanced as we work to complement currently operating programs and projects.

The Board of Directors of Health Bridges International has outreach experience that spans the globe.  We are available to help with consulting and program development for international community development and medical outreach programs. 

Our focus of building community leaders and enhancing "in-country" professionals has our organization committed to supporting young health care leaders.  One of the burgeoning projects of HBI is a professional scholarship program that supports early and mid level career professionals in developing countries as they advance in their training and begin their commitment to community outreach and care for the under-served.  There is no better way to effect change in developing countries than by developing professionals committed to working with the impoverished in their own communities.

Our work in Peru has led to a tremendous insight into how to best organize and implement a medical and health care outreach.  We are available to consult with organizations and groups working on building medical and health care outreach projects in Peru and throughout Latin America.  Please contact HBI at info@hbint.org for more information.
