Constance J. TaylorConnie Taylor has been in the environmental consulting profession for 28 years, with her primary technical focus in the areas of regulatory affairs and hazardous waste management. Much of her career has been in corporate leadership positions, capitalizing on her strength in business management and strategic planning. A strong believer in using her talents to give back to the community, she has actively pursued opportunities to share her business knowledge and technical skills with a variety of charitable organizations focused on children and community health care. As past president, chair, director, or corporate secretary for an impressive number of business and community organizations, and as a current advisory board member for two Ronald McDonald Houses in Portland, Connie demonstrates the kind of personal and professional dedication that has led to once-in-a-lifetime awards and recognition for her outstanding business and community achievements. In recognition of her commitment and contributions, which have had an enduring impact on children and families, she was honored as an inaugural inductee into the Ronald McDonald Hall of Fame for outstanding leadership. Additionally, she was a 2000 Honoree at the March of Dimes White Rose Salute to Women of Achievement for outstanding achievement in professional work and community service. Ms. Taylor’s commitment to serve spans much of her professional career. She has been President or Chair of the following organizations: Board of Trustees - Ronald McDonald House Charities of Oregon and Southwest Washington; Emanuel Medical Center Foundation; and Holladay Park Medical Center Foundation. She has also been a Trustee for the University Club Foundation. Connie’s quest to learn about different cultures and has taken her to Asia, Europe, Australia, South America and many places in Central and North America. Her travel experience has strengthened her resolve to improve living conditions for children and families on a more global basis. |
