Partnerships

Anglican Church – HBI works with the Anglican Church of Peru to provide clinic staffing for outreach projects in the Lima area of San Juan de Miraflores.

Vida Peru – For over 3 years, HBI has worked with Vida Peru to distribute medications and supplies to underserved communities south of Lima.

Union Biblica del Peru – HBI works in direct collaboration with Union Biblica del Peru to provide medical and social outreach to impoverished areas.  The focus of our collaborative work with UB is the schools outreach.  Our schools project brings medical, dental and social services to communities where children are most vulnerable to homelessness.

Serviendo Logrando Paz – HBI is currently partnering with SLP to develop and implement a drop-in youth center in downtown Arequipa for highly vulnerable populations. 

Alto Cayma Mission - The Alto Cayma mission is run by Father Alex Busuttil, a Catholic priest from the island of Malta who has been in Peru for over ten years. When he first arrived and asked the people what their greatest needs were, he was told that a church, day-care center would be of greatest benefit.  In addition, he was told of the great need for help with employment.  Since then, a model community healthcare program has been established.  For over 5 years, HBI has worked to support the programs and projects of the Mission of Alto Cayma.  From outreach mission trips to financial contributions to the community feeding program – HBI is working to create collaborative connections for the Alto Cayma Mission.

Medical Ministry International – HBI has worked to provide volunteer staff for the medical outreach projects of MMI.  HBI Board President, Wayne Centrone, currently acts as a volunteer medical director for MMI projects in Peru.
